Live Bands at Kegs & Metal 2026
The Kegs & Metal stage brings together regional and national hard rock and metal with performances by Destructor, Sonic 67, Olathia, Black Moon Cult, Billy Morris & The Sunset Strip, and Another Dead Rock Star. From classic power-thrash to modern heavy rock, the lineup represents the depth of the Cleveland and Ohio metal scene at Yankies Bar & Grill in Geneva-on-the-Lake.
Another Dead Rock Star
Another Dead Rockstar combines the powerful drumming and singing of Ivo Matic, the massive low-end thump of Rob Parsh on bass, and the melodic growl of Tom Curry on guitar. Influences include: Alice in Chains, Matthew Good Band, Soundgarden, Rush, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and a bunch of 70's, 80's, and 90's rock to the present that's too long to list. Another Dead Rockstar originally formed in 2010.
Band members Ivo Matic and Tom Curry, both also former members of toeHead in the middle 1990s, have worked together in a few different bands since then. Rob Parsh (former Lazy Susan and Three Drink Minimum member) joined in 2018, and contributed to the writing of a whole new batch of songs that became the new album. Billy Morris & The Sunset Strip
Cleveland-born Billy Morris has been shaping rock ’n’ roll since childhood, taking his original music to stages across the globe and earning acclaim for his guitar mastery.
He co-founded bands like Spoyld and Kidd Wicked during Cleveland’s glam-metal era and released his original album Holdin' All The Aces in 2018, showcasing his songwriting and production skills.
Today, Billy leads Billy Morris and the Sunset Strip, performing his original songs with unstoppable energy, while also running Smokin’ Rock n’ Roll and Audio Bay Studios, and bringing it all together with his music-and-food destination, BAY ROCKS, in Bay Village.
Black Moon Cult
Black Moon Cult is a heavy psychedelic rock band from Toledo, OH, formed in 2021 by Kaleb Riser (vocals/guitar/synth), Kevin Lewis (bass/synth), Logan May (synth/theremin), and Jeff Vandebussche (drums). Signed to Atlanta’s Black Doomba Records, their sound blends early Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Hawkwind with prog, desert rock, and stoner riffage—drawing comparisons to Nebula, Earthless, and The Sword.
Their singles Hollow Traveler and Supernova (via Tee Pee Records) set the stage for their debut full-length, Ophidian Future: The Children of Yig, out Sept. 4. The band has toured extensively across the Midwest and East Coast, playing fests like Maryland Doomfest, Ohio Doom & Bloom, Heavy Chicago, and more, while sharing the stage with The Obsessed, Today is the Day, The Atomic Bitchwax, Brimstone Coven, and others.
Destructor
Forged in the 1980s Cleveland metal underground, the band built their name on ferocious live performances alongside Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth while helping define the American power-thrash sound. In recent years they’ve continued to carry that fire across major stages, including appearances at Hell’s Heroes (TX), Stormbringer Metal Festival (MA), and Blades of Steel Metalfest (WI), as well as Germany’s Keep It True Rising. Their latest release Blood, Bone and Fire proved the attack is as lethal as ever, and the forthcoming album Tales of Glory on Shadow Kingdom Records drives the blade even deeper. Decades in, the mission remains the same—true metal, no compromise.
Olathia
Olathia (pronounced oh-LAY-thee-ah) is a Cleveland-based heavy metal band blending traditional heavy metal, thrash, and power metal. Fronted by the powerful vocals of Chris E., the band delivers high-energy performances that appeal to fans of classic metal while adding a modern edge.
Their music explores themes of inner struggles, betrayal, and resilience, with soaring melodies, intricate guitar work, and a driving rhythm section. Actively performing across the Midwest, Olathia has built a dedicated fan base through electrifying live shows, with releases like The Forest Witch showcasing their evolution and commitment to pushing the boundaries of heavy metal.
Sonic 67
Sonic 67 is an all original power trio with influences from rock, to blues, metal and more. Comprised of stage veterans that know how to deliver the goods. Well-crafted songs, catchy choruses, thunderous drums, bass lines galore and guitars that scream, crunch or whisper.
